MEET THE TEAM

We’re doing it one more time. The 2022-23 RoboThinkers robotics team is all girls again. This year, half of the team are rookies but they are fast learners and eager to get started. This season’s theme is “SUPERPOWERED.” For the project, the team will explore where energy comes from and how it is distributed, stored, and used.  One of the team’s goals is to build a smaller robot with a special twist to the robot design.

After 2 years of virtual competitions, we are looking forward to getting back to normal in-person competitions. We meet in person twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the evenings. We have been meeting together since June and have begun incorporating the FIRST core values into our daily routine. The team plans to make a lot of progress in a short amount of time so we think that we will be ready to have a great season representing the City of York

We are currently fundraising for our trip to Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, MA to compete in a national competition against 83 national and international teams on June 9-11, 2023. To learn more about this event and how you can help the team get to WPI, click HERE.
