THINK ABOUT IT
Young Thinkers of York depends on the help of its volunteers to help us open doors of opportunity for our youth in the City of York. You can take action and become part of a deeper conversation. No matter what your skill set, interests, or schedule may be, we will match you with the right volunteer opportunity to make a difference.
Be a robotics coach or mentor
- Help support and encourage a team of 4th–8th graders competing in robotic games, including a project presentation tackling a real-world problem and a discussion about how the members used core values to become a team.
Be a guest speaker
- Share your stories and your real-life experiences with our youth. Whether it’s about science, how to build a computer or even your job, we welcome you to join us as a guest speaker.
Host a job shadow at your workplace
- Are you a business owner? We are interested in having our students spend a day in your shoes to see what it’s really like to be your own boss. This life-learning experience can help guide our youth to an unimaginable future.
